Refund Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This policy covers purchases of BriefBot (the self-hosted, MIT-licensed digest-bot kit) sold through this website. Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record.

Short version: if BriefBot is not for you, email us within 60 days of purchase and you'll get your money back. No forms, no interrogation, no hard feelings.

1. The refund window

You may request a full refund at any point up to 60 days from the date of purchase. You don't need a reason, but a sentence of feedback is always welcome — it helps make the product better.

2. How to request a refund

3. What happens next

We confirm every request by email, typically within 1–2 business days. The refund itself is issued through Creem to your original payment method; depending on your bank or card provider the money usually lands within 5–10 business days. You'll keep access to any downloads you already made.

4. One thing we ask in return

BriefBot's code is MIT-licensed, so after purchase it is genuinely yours to keep and use. We run this 60-day policy on trust: please don't buy, fork the repo, and refund in the same breath. If that pattern repeats from the same buyer, we may decline further refunds from that address.

5. Problems with the download or checkout

If your download link fails, expires, or you were charged incorrectly, email the same address — those are fixed or refunded immediately, no window applies.
